Madden NFL 16 Xbox One Bundle lets you play early, save big

A new Xbox One bundle will launch for fans of the Madden franchise, just in time for the official start of the football season. The new bundle will come equipped with an Xbox One console with a 1TB hard drive, a full download of Madden NFL 16 to play when the game launches on August 25, plus a one-year subscription to EA Access.

Madden NFL 16 will offer classic Madden NFL modes like Connected Franchise, Ultimate Team, and last year’s new mode, Skills Trainer. Other new modes include Draft Champions, a Madden-style take on fantasy football and the game will come with new and improved controls.

There will also be a new presentation mode that will, “make the whole thing look, feel, and sound like a prime-time broadcast,” according to the announcement by Microsoft.

With the Xbox One Madden NFL 16 bundle customers also get one year of EA Access. This gives you access to “The Vault,” which is a collection of EA titles that are free to play, but you also get 10% off EA digital purchases.

The subscription will also allow you to play EA games on Xbox One for a limited time before their release and the ability to keep your progress if you decide to purchase the game. The bundle will allow you to play Madden 16 on August 20, five-days before the game launches on August 25.

The bundle can be yours for $399 and you can pre-order the Xbox One Madden NFL 16 Bundle at participating retailers now. The bundle hits stores Aug. 18.
