Clea DuVall’s untitled Directorial Debut is getting an all-star cast
Clea DuVall’s first feature-film doesn’t have an official name yet, but the cast-list is filled with great ones. Cobie Smulders, Melanie Lynskey, Natasha Lyonne, Vincent Piazza, Jason Ritter, Ben Schwartz and Alia Shawkat have all joined the untitled project, which DuVall also is writing and starring in.
Producing the film are Paul M. Bernon and Sam Slater along with Sev Ohanian. DuVall will also serve as an executive with Mel Eslyn and David Bernon.
Fans might remember DuVall best form her roles in FX’s “American Horror Story” and “Argo.” DuVall was also featured in the hit drama “Girl Interrupted” alongside Wynona Ryder and Angelina Jolie.
Duvall recently spoke about the upcoming project saying, “I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to be working with our extraordinary crew behind the camera, with our phenomenal cast in front of it, and with our brilliant editor to put it all together.”
Paul Bernon and Sam Slater released a statement saying, “Clea DuVall is one of the most diversely talented actresses working today and we are honored to work with her, not only on her directorial debut, but also from a script she has written. We look forward to seeing her bring her vision to the screen.”
