Batman Arkham Knight Season Pass will add 1989 movie Batman options

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment are releasing more story-driven content for “Batman: Arkham Knight” with “Batgirl: A Matter of Family,” but the company also announced some exciting DLC that will be included with the season pass.

The Batgirl content will be available beginning today for fans who have purchased the “Batman: Arkham Knight Season Pass” for the PS4 and the Xbox One but won’t be available for PC until the port is running properly. If you don’t have the season pass you can still get the new Batgirl DLC, it will be available on July 21 for $6.99.

The Batgirl DLC takes place before the events in Batman: Arkham Asylum, in “Batgirl: A Matter of Family” players will take on the role of Batgirl for the first time in the Batman: Arkham franchise.

When The Joker kidnaps Commissioner Gordon and holds him hostage at the Seagate Amusement Park, Batgirl and Robin must fight against the odds to save him and avoid falling victim to The Joker’s sinister plan. Trained by Batman, Batgirl’s combat combines with unparalleled hacking abilities to take down enemies, manipulate the environment and solve puzzles.

The Batman: Arkham Knight Season Pass includes an exclusive Flashpoint Batman Skin and delivers regular new content for six months featuring new story missions, more Super-Villains invading Gotham City, new legendary Batmobiles, advanced challenge maps, alternative character skins, and new drivable race tracks.

Just announced Batman: Arkham Knight Season Pass content coming in August includes a 1989 Movie Batmobile Pack, that will allow players to battle through the streets of Gotham City with a Batman skin and Batmobile from the 1989 Batman film, as well as two tracks inspired by the film’s sequel.

There will also be a Bat-family Skins Pack. Included in this pack are six character skins based on the alternate timelines like 1990s Catwoman, One Year Later Robin, Arkham Origins Batman, Iconic Grey & Black Batman, 1970s Batman and the Original Arkham Nightwing.
