Fantastic Four trailer released from Comic-Con limbo

Fantastic Four fans can watch the latest trailer released from 20th Century Fox, the studio released the preview-video from San Diego Comic-Con earlier this morning. Just like the videos for “Suicide Squad” and “Deadpool,” FOX had decided not to release the trailers shown at SDCC at first, only to have them leak-out of the convention anyway. Other trailers like “Batman vs. Superman” were released immediately following their Comic-Con debut.

Fantastic Four is set to release later this summer, the film is a rebooted story telling the origin story of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team. The plot focuses on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form and gives them superpowers.

With their new abilities, the foursome team-up to protect the world from all that endanger it. Starring in the film are Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, Jamie Bell and Toby Kebbell.

The film was directed by Josh Trank , working from a screenplay that he wrote with Jeremy Slater and Simon Kinberg. The story is based on the Marvel Comic Book by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.

Fantastic Four will release in theaters on August 7, 2015
