Warner Bros. Pictures is close to finalizing all of the major roles for the new stand-alone film set within the Harry Potter Universe called “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.”

The most recent update to the cast-list is with Alison Sudol, who fans might remember had a recurring role on Amazon’s hit series “Transparent.” Sudol is currently set to join the cast of Fantastic Beasts as Queenie.

If final negotiations go through she will be joining Eddie Redmayne and Katherine Waterston. Queenie is a very important role in the film, she is the sister of Tina (the second main character of the film, confirmed to be played Waterston).

It was already reported earlier this year that Redmayne will be playing the role of Newt Scamander, the Wizarding World’s preeminent magi zoologist, The story of Newt follows him on his travels has encountered and documented a myriad of magical creatures, ultimately leading to his penning the Hogwarts School textbook Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

Making her screenwriting debut on the film, J.K. Rowling has developed the character of Scamander and his primer—taken from her globally beloved Harry Potter series—to further explore the unique wizarding world she has crafted in print and bring it to life on screen. David Yates, who directed the last four “Harry Potter” films and will direct “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.”

Warner Bros. Pictures has slated “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” for worldwide release in 3D and IMAX on November 18, 2016.
