Ariana Grande donut licking craziness, says she “hates” America and drops out of MLB fest
Ariana Grande’s donut-licking spree is probably the strangest event the performer has ever had filmed. The pop-princess found herself in hot water after she visited a small donut shop where she licked donuts she didn’t buy and told her friends that she “hates” America.
TMZ acquired the security footage below, which shows the pop-star licking donuts and leaving them on the counter. You can chalk that up to being a teen but her unprovoked comments on America as a whole is what is causing a lot of backlash with fans and general Americans all over the place.
“I hate Americans,” Grande says in the video, she then adds “I hate America.” As you can image this isn’t going over well here in America, no representative for the singer have responded to the video at this time. The video also shows Grande kissing one of the two men, who have not been identified that came with her to the Lake Elsinore donut shop.
Following the backlash, Ariana Grande has pulled-out of the Major League Baseball All-Star festivities that she was scheduled to attend. Replacing her at the event is “Cool for the Summer” singer, Demi Lovato.
The “official” reason that Grande has been replaced is because Grande had her wisdom teeth pulled on Monday but the video is from the July 4th weekend. The event is scheduled to take place at the MLB All-Star Concert at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati.
UPDATE: Ariana Grand releases formal statement on the video
