Another gigantic cast will help celebrate a national holiday next year, thanks to a new Garry Marshall film called ‘Mother’s Day’. A few of film’s details have already been reported, including several new additions to the Marshall comedy-team.

With Marshall directing, the film has cast Julia Roberts in one of the starring roles. If final negotiations go smoothly then Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson, and funny-man Jason Sudeikis will be joining her in the film.

Wayne Rice, Mike Karz, and Kevin Frakes will be producing the film. Ankur Rungta will serve as the executive producer. Fans might remember Marshall’s other comedies that entered around national holidays like “Valentine’s Day” and the film “New Year’s Eve.”

In “Mother’s Day” the story will follow the lives of several moms as their timelines and stories interact. The film will kickoff before “Mother’s Day” as each prepares to celebrate the big-day. Anya Kochoff-Romano and Lily Hollander wrote the script to the film.

Julia Roberts has been a staple in many of Marshall’s films, including “Pretty Woman, “Runaway Bride” and the before mentioned “Valentine’s Day.”
