Following Donald Trump’s controversial statements about Latinos in America, NBC had decided to part ways the GOP presidential candidate.

In a statement sent to the press, NBC confirmed Monday that it is entirely ending the network’s working relationship with Donald Trump.

“At NBC, respect and dignity for all people are cornerstones of our values. Due to the recent derogatory statements by Donald Trump regarding immigrants, NBCUniversal is ending its business relationship with Mr. Trump,” NBC said in the statement released today.

The decision to dump the Trump stems directly from his comments on immigrants during the announcement of his 2016 presidential campaign. The comments mainly focused on Mexican immigrants and how Trump feels they are bringing crime into the country.

So what does this mean for popular annual events like “Miss USA” and the “Miss Universe” pageant? NBC will not be airing them.

Earlier this month Trump confirmed that he would no longer be appearing on his reality television show “The Apprentice,” in order to focus on his campaign.

Univision had already confirmed that the network would not air the Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants.
