The list of guest occupying FX’s “American Horror Story: Hotel” continues to grow this week with the addition of Max Greenfield. The popular actor from FOX’s “The New Girl” will be joining the already expansive cast of guest-stars and regulars when “American Horror Story: Hotel” premieres later this fall.
This will be the fifth season of the horror anthology, series creator Ryan Murphy made the official casting announcement earlier today (Monday) on Twitter. Murphy stopped short of releasing any key details on Greenfield’s character, or the plot of the new series, but fans of the FOX show should be happy to see him in a new role (other than doing ads for Big Macs). Murphy tweeted to his followers, “This October, Max Greenfield (like you’ve never seen him) is checking in to the hotel….but not checking out. #AHSHotel”
Joining Max on the small-screen for the new season will be Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer, Wes Bentley, Cheyenne Jackson, Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Chloe Sevigny, Evan Peters and Angela Bassett. The casting works out well for FOX, which owns both “AHS” and “The New Girl.”
The show will start production later this summer, the series premiere of “American Horror Story: Hotel” is set to air this October.
