Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege release date set for October
Ubisoft has officially announced that Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege will be available worldwide on October 13, 2015. The new title will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. The game was developed by Ubisoft Montreal, Ubisoft describes Rainbow Six Siege as “inspired by real world counter-terrorist organisations,” and puts players “in the middle of lethal close-quarters confrontations.”
Also, for the first time in a Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six game, players will engage in sieges. These will be new assaults where enemies have the means to transform their environments into modern strongholds while Rainbow Six teams lead the assault to breach the enemy’s position.
Ubisoft describes the latest trailer stating, “Selecting one of 20 Operators will be an important choice for all Rainbow Six Siege players. Will you focus on jamming the opposing squad’s communications? Or will you favor the ever-reliable bulletproof barricade? Will a ranged breach launcher be more useful to you than a sledgehammer? Every choice contributes to your team in different ways.”
