Hulu doubles down on animation with Venture Bros., Adventure Time, Aqua Teen and more

Hulu will be beefing up its animated offerings this year, and what better way to do that than with Meatwad? The kind-of-gross, yet always adorable, star of ‘Aqua Teen Hunger Force’ is just one of many animated hits that Hulu will begin offering viewers.

Hulu’s latest partnership with Adult Swim and the Cartoon Network will allow users to choose from dozens of animated series and episodes whenever they feel the need for some animation. The deal with Turner Broadcasting was announced today, allowing Hulu to the the exclusive destination a variety of animated series.

Among the shows that were confirmed for the streaming service were Adult Swim’s original series ‘Rick and Morty,’ ‘Black Jesus,’ ‘NTSF:SD:SUV’ and the Cartoon Network original series such as ‘The Amazing World of Gumball,’ ‘Steven Universe,’ ‘Over the Garden Wall’ and ‘Clarence’.

As for full-season perfection, you can look forward to ‘Aqua Teen Hunger Force,’ ‘Dexter’s Laboratory,’ ‘Ben 10’, and even ‘Robot Chicken’, ‘The Venture Bros.’, ‘Adventure Time,’ and ‘Regular Show/’ They will also become available to stream exclusively to Hulu subscribers.

If you’re looking for non-animated series, you will find ‘The Last Ship,’ from Michael Bay, ‘Murder in the First’ which was co-created by Emmy-winner Steven Bochco.

“Through the deal, Hulu will also be the streaming home to additional future series that will premiere on TNT and TBS over the coming years,” according to today’s announcements.
