Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice official trailer released after leak

Last night the first trailer for the highly-anticipated film ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ was leaked, and because of this, Warner Bros. Pictures has released the trailer ahead of its Monday release-date in IMAX.

The trailer was part of a promotional event that IMAX theaters were going to hold on Monday, but because of the early leak, you can watch the trailer below thanks to an upload from WB. The film’s Director, Zack Snyder, teased the trailer earlier this week on Twitter. It was reported that the full-promotion was set to offer a 15 minute preview of the high-action comic-book film, but the new trailer offers a two-minute look.

The film will star Henry Cavill in the role of Clark Kent/Superman, and Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman. “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” also stars Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, with Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane returning from “Man of Steel,” Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and Holly Hunter in a role newly created for the film. “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” is written by Chris Terrio, from a screenplay by David S. Goyer.

Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder are producing, with Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Wesley Coller, David S. Goyer and Geoff Johns serving as executive producers. “Batman v Superman” is scheduled to be released on March 25, 2016.
