If you’re on the lookout for more zombie-action after ‘The Walking Dead’ finally last week, mark February 19th down on your calendar. Screen Gems recently announced that “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies” will release in late February, giving fans an early-year zombie fix.

The film has an amazing cast behind it, including recent ‘Cinderella’ star Lily James and former ‘Doctor Who’ star Matt Smith. Joining the popular actors will be Sam Riley, Lena Headey, Suki Waterhouse, Jack Huston and Bella Heathcote. The film itself is being directed by Burr Steers (Charlie St. Cloud) working from a screenplay that he co-wrote with David O. Russell. Brian Oliver, Allison Shearmur, Sean McKittrick, Natalie Portman, Annette Savitch, Tyler Thompson and Marc Butan are producing the film.

As for the individual castings Lily James is taking on the role of Elizabeth Bennet in the film, Suki Waterhouse will be playing the role of Elizabeth’s sister Kitty Bennet. Matt Smith will be playing the role of Mr. Collins, Sam Riley will be playing the role of Mr. Darcy. Lena Headey’s role has not been disclosed at this time but Douglas Booth has been confirmed as Mr. Bingley. If you’re unfamiliar with the new film, it is exactly as it sounds. The film is based on the Seth Grahame-Smith novel published in 2009, the project is an interesting cross-section of a zombie-thriller and the original workings of Jane Austen’s famous novel “Pride and Prejudice.”

Fans might know Sam Riley best from ‘Maleficent,’ Riley played the role of Diaval in that film. Lily James is just coming off her own Walt Disney live-action adaptation role in ‘Cinderella.’ Suki Waterhouse is finishing up her working on ‘The Bad Batch,’ she will star in the film with Jason Momoa and Keanu Reeves. ‘The Bad Batch’ was written and directed by Ana Lily Amirpour and is set to release in 2016. Former BBC star Matt Smith is prepping to release the highly-anticipated film ‘Terminator Genisys’ alongside Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney and Arnold Schwarzenegger. ‘Genisys’ is set to release nation wide on July 1, 2015. Smith will also be starring in ‘Patient Zero’ directed by Stefan Ruzowitzky, Smith will star with ‘Game of Thrones’ star Natalie Dormer, Clive Standen and Stanley Tucci in that film.
