Chloe Sevigny is returning to American Horror Story
Another guest has been confirmed for FX’s highly-anticipated series ‘American Horror Story.’ Ryan Murphy made the official announcement on Twitter earlier this afternoon, confirming that Chloe Sevigny will be a series regular on ‘American Horror Story: Hotel’
This will be the fifth season of the popular FX anthology series, and the second time that Chloe Sevigny will be a part of the cast. Fans might remember that Sevigny was featured in the second season of American Horror Story, in the role of Shelley.
Wes Bentley, Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson and Lady Gaga have all been confirmed for the next season, set to premiere later this year on FX. Although fans may be excited to meet all of the new characters the show has decided to add, long-time fans may miss Jessica Lange. It was confirmed earlier this year that Lange would not be returning for season five, this will be the first season without her memorable character.
Murphy kept the announcement simple on Twitter, telling his fans “Very excited to announce that Chloe Sevigny returns to the AHS family as a series regular on “AHS: Hotel.” Sevigny hasn’t landed long-time regular role on a series since the series ‘Big Love’ ended back in 2011. Since then she has been featured as a guest star in several high-profile shows including ‘Louie,’ ‘Portlandia,’ ‘The Mindy Project’ and of course the previous season of ‘American Horror Story.’ Fans of Sevigny might be following her latest roles in the new series ‘Bloodline’ and she will star in an upcoming tv-movie with Ted Levine and John Hawkes called ‘Dr. Del.’ That project is currently in post-production and is expected to release later this year.
The fifth season of the FX series ‘American Horror Story’ is still on-schedule to release later this year in October, and fans are only a few months away from another thrilling season.
