Fans that are waiting for the new ‘Batman: Arkham Knight’ installment will have to wait just a little bit longer for the game to release. The developers confirmed today that the game will now launch worldwide on June 23, 2015. In a statement released earlier today, Rocksteady Studios said, “We’re a developer that hates to make any compromises, so we are sorry to say this means it’s going to be just a little bit longer until you can play the epic conclusion to the Arkham trilogy.”

Although it may be a hard pill to swallow, we suspect that gamers will be happy to wait for a completed game, as opposed to one filled with bugs. The company went on to say, “As a reward for your patience and understanding, and to make the wait even more unbearable, we are pleased to whet your appetite with a new gameplay video of Batman: Arkham Knight.”

In the end the game will release at the end of June, so gamers will have a long summer-break to enjoy the new Batman installment on their product of choice. The company thanked fans in the statement as well saying, “Thanks so much from everyone at Rocksteady for your continued support. We are working as hard as we can to make you proud.”
