Dwayne Johnson to host SNL for the fourth time
NBC confirmed that Saturday Night Live will be returning on March 28th with host Dwayne Johnson, this will be the fourth time that Johnson has been asked to host to the popular show. Fans can expect to see Johnson in the highly anticipated box office hit “Furious 7,” scheduled to hit theaters on April 3, 2015. The action star will also play the lead in another high-octane film, “San Andreas,” scheduled to release in theaters on May 29.
George Ezra will make his first appearance as SNL musical guest. Ezra’s debut studio album, “Wanted on Voyage,” spawned the international hit single “Budapest,” and the singer-songwriter is currently on tour in the U.S. and Europe. “Saturday Night Live” is produced in association with Broadway Video. The creator and executive producer is Lorne Michaels.
Dwayne Johnson has several other major projects in the works, set to release over the next few years. Those projects include the next major Disney animated-film ‘Moana,’ Johnson is also set to play the role of Black Adam in ‘Shazam!’. The popular actor will also be featured in ‘Central Intelligence’ alongside Kevin Hart and Ed Helms. It has also been rumored that Johnson will be returning as Hank for ‘Journey to the Center of the Earth 4′ and ‘Journey 3: From the Earth to the Moon’.
