Fans of ‘The Flash’ already know the villain above, he is one of the leading arch-nemesis of the the Flash and he is making his way to the CW later this month. The network revealed the first look at ‘Reverse Flash’ earlier this week, showing the villain in his iconic yellow costume on Twitter.

The photo for the new addition to the cast was released on the official Twitter profile for the series with the note, “Where there’s light there’s dark. #TheFlash is new Tuesday at 8/7c! #ReverseFlashIsComing.”

Fans should mark down March 17 as a special episode to watch, as the yellow nemesis will speed onto screens across the nation when the show goes live at 8pm on the CW. The network has been on a bit of a poster-spree, releasing three character posters just this week to promote their superhero lineup. Previous posters include shots of “Arrow” and one of the “Flash.” The episode also marks the begining of the mid-season premiere for the series, which is why such an iconic character is making its way into the story-line.

Back in January the CW announced that ‘The Flash’ was one of the eight series that the network would be renewing for the 2015-2016 season. The other seven included ARROW (Season 4), JANE THE VIRGIN (Season 2), REIGN (Season 3), SUPERNATURAL (Season 11), THE 100 (Season 3), THE ORIGINALS (Season 3), and THE VAMPIRE DIARIES (Season 7).

“Each of these series have helped define what The CW is today, a network that is home to smart, provocative, quality programming, targeting a savvy adult audience,” said Pedowitz at the time of the announcement. “By picking up these shows now, our executive producers can start planning next season’s storylines, and rolling these shows out throughout next season guarantees The CW will have more proven original series for our fall, midseason and summer 2016 line-ups.”
