Grappling with the diminishing powers of his mind, Holmes comes to rely upon the boy as he revisits the circumstances of the unsolved case that forced him into retirement, and searches for answers to the mysteries of life and love – “before it’s too late.”
With his role has Gandalf finally wrapped up from the world-famous ‘Hobbit’ films, McKellen has quite a few projects in the works, all set to release over the next two-years. One of the more interesting projects outside of ‘Mr. Holmes’ is ‘The Dresser,’ a TV Movie that he is currently filming with Anthony Hopkins and Emily Watson.
