Fans of ‘Game of Thrones,’ ‘True Detectives’ and other popular HBO series will soon have the option to stream them from their PS4s starting later today. Sony Computer Entertainment made the confirmation earlier today, announcing the release date with a post on the Playstation blog.

It was Phil Rosenberg, Senior Vice President of Business Development at SCEA, that made the announcement saying, “We know you’ve been looking forward to this day. We are excited to announce that the HBO GO app for PS4 will be ready to download later today.” Rosenberg went on to say, “The app functions just like the PS3 version. After you authenticate your PS4 with your current cable/satellite service through, you’ll be able to watch every episode of every season of HBO’s best shows, including True Detective, Silicon Valley and Game of Thrones.”

The app releases just in time for HBO’s most popular series, ‘Game of Thrones,’ which is set to premiere on April 12th, 2015. Game of Thrones will be entering into its fifth season on the network.
