Fans all around the world can send their well-wishes to Lady Gaga through her various social-media accounts, the popular actor and singer confirmed that she is now engaged with a simple update to her Instagram account.

Spilling the beans to her fans, Lady Gaga simply wrote, “He gave me his heart on Valentine’s Day, and I said YES!” Lady Gaga wrote the quick message to everyone that followed her Instagram account earlier today (Monday).

Lady Gaga also shared a single-photo of the heart-shaped ring given to her from her longtime boyfriend Taylor Kinney.

The simple ring was part of the proposal, which appears to be a very traditional choice for the very untraditional performer. It was just moments after the alleged proposal that the lovely couple were seen inside her family’s Manhattan restaurant.

Lady Gaga is now 28, while her fiance Kinney is now 33, the couple have been dating for around four-years now. Despite their long courtship it was unclear if the two would ever have a traditional marriage. Lady Gaga never confirmed or denied if she would be marrying Kinney, she went as far to say, “I really can’t imagine being with anyone other than who I’m with right now,” to Howard Stern this past December while promoting her new work. “He is the right guy,” Gaga told Stern, “I have that feeling. I just know it.”

Times Herald-Record executive editor Barry Lewis stumbled upon the news a little early. According to Lewis’ report, he just happened to be in Joanne’s Trattoria restaurant on the Upper East Side with his wife in New York City on Saturday night when the two came in talking about the engagement.

He gave me his heart on Valentine's Day, and I said YES!
