Age of Adaline second trailer, tells the story of Blake Lively’s impossible love
The movie may have been a perfect match for a Valentine’s Day release, but at least you can enjoy the trailer to ‘The Age of Adaline’ leading up to the romantic weekend. Lionsgate released the second trailer for upcoming film this afternoon, a romantic tale of impossible love, which is sure to cause a few tears before the final credits roll.
The romantic drama is set to release in the spring and has quite an impressive cast behind it’s lead-star; Blake Lively. Joining her on screen will be Michiel Huisman, Kathy Baker, Amanda Crew, Harrison Ford and Ellen Burstyn.
The film itself was directed by Lee Toland Krieger, working off a screenplay written by J. Mills Goodloe & Salvador Paskowitz. The story follows Adaline Bowman, a woman who has remained twenty-nine years old for almost eight decades. Adaline Bowman (Blake Lively) has lived a solitary existence, never allowing herself to get close to anyone who might reveal her secret.
The film picks-up when a chance encounter with a charismatic philanthropist, Ellis Jones (played by Michiel Huisman), reignites her passion for life and romance. When a weekend with his parents (Harrison Ford and Kathy Baker) threatens to uncover the truth, Adaline makes a decision that will change her life forever.
While Harrison Ford has had a busy life on-screen these past few years with ‘Ender’s Game,’ ‘Anchorman 2,’ ‘The Expendables 3,’ and his upcoming reprisal of Han Solo in ‘Star Wars: Episode VII;’ Blake Lively has been living a quieter life off-camera. She has been busy while on a break from her acting career, marrying Ryan Reynolds in 2012 and she recently gave birth to her first child just this year, a little girl named James. Ryan Reynolds just finished working on ‘Woman in Gold,’ where he will be starring opposite Helen Mirren.
Fans of the genre, and of Blake Lively, can catch the film when it releases in theaters on April 24, 2015.
