The Walking Dead: Watch first two minutes of the mid-season premiere
Get ready for the ultimate preview, AMC has released the first two-minutes of ‘The Walking Dead’ ahead of its mid-season premiere. The popular zombie-series is set to return from its midseason hiatus this Sunday, but you can get an early look at the upcoming episode thanks to the network’s latest upload. Now obviously there are going to be a few spoilers ahead if you haven’t seen up to the mid-season finale, so proceed with caution people.
If you are caught-up with all of the episodes, then prepare to get very excited for the return of the show (if you weren’t already that is). The second half of the series still has to deal with the bitter ending of Beth, and the season five opener of Beth’s burial after her tragic demise. As you can imagine Maggie (played by Lauren Cohan) is devastated at the event, seen with Father Gabriel (played by Seth Gillam) who is speaking over the gravesite of her departed sister.
The show isn’t all wrapping-up loose-ends though, Noah (played by Tyler James Williams) and Rick (played by Andrew Lincoln) talk about a plan that Beth made before her death, to an unknown location outside of Richmond, Virginia.
If you have read the comic series, then you’re a step-ahead, and you know of a little place that is most-likely the location in Alexandria, Virginia, but we won’t spoil any of that for you non-comic readers. “If it works out, it’s the last long trip we have to make,” Rick tells the remaining group of survivors. “What if it isn’t around anymore?” asks Glenn (Steven Yeun) as Rick answers “Then we keep going.” Things are getting pretty grim for the gang already, but we are pumped to see the season premiere.
Obviously fans should set their reminders for the rest of the episode, which is set to air on Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
