Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga among performers added to Stevie Wonder Grammy Salute
Among the acts confirmed for the ‘Stevie Wonder: Songs in the key of Life – An All Star Grammy Salute’ are country-band The Band Perry, pop-stars Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga, and R&B singer John Legend. More performers are likely to be added as we get closer to the premiere of the show.
The special event is set to premiere MONDAY, FEB. 16 ON CBS. These stars join previously announced performers Janelle Monáe, Ed Sheeran and Usher. The primetime special, presented by The Recording Academy, AEG Ehrlich Ventures and CBS, will pay homage to Wonder’s iconic career with superstar performances celebrating his incomparable songbook. The live concert takes place at Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE on Tuesday, Feb. 10. The two-hour special will be broadcast Monday, Feb. 16, 2015 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/ PT) on the CBS Television Network. Two-time GRAMMY Award winner LL COOL J will host this very special tribute, he is also hosting the Grammy’s this year.
A 25-time GRAMMY Award winner, Wonder is the only artist to have received Album Of The Year honors for three out of four consecutive years with Innervisions (1973), Fulfillingness’ First Finale (1974) and Songs In The Key Of Life (1976).
