Ariana Grande, Lea Michele, Joe Manganiello and others confirmed for ‘Scream Queens’
FOX is keeping one Glee cast-member around for good-luck at the end of the shows final season, the network announced today that the Ryan Murphy Comedy-Horror series ‘Scream Queens’ will add Lea Michele, along with True Blood alum Joe Manganiello, Abigail Breslin (from Little Miss Sunshine), Keke Palmer (from Akeelah and the Bee) and Ariana Grande (Sam & Cat, Victorious) to the first season of the show.
The news was announced earlier today (Saturday) at the Television Critics Association’s winter press tour. The show was picked-up as a 15-episodes straight-to-series-order, and will premiere as an hourlong comedy this fall. Season one will take place on a college campus, haunted by a set of murders.
Each season will bring a new setting and a new storyline, along with a new set of guest-stars. Production on the show is set to begin in the spring. As for regulars in the show, you have Michele, Manganiello, Michele and Breslin. Ariana Grande is set to be a guest star in a recurring role.
Emma Roberts (American Horror Story) and and Jamie Lee Curtis (Halloween) are set to star in the comedy. More details on the exact plot and other casting updates are expected to be released ahead of the spring 2015 production schedule.
