The 2015 Oscar Nominations, Everything is Awesome
Earlier this morning, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the official nominees for the 2015 Oscars. Clint Eastwood’s ‘American Sniper’ appears on the list several times this morning, as does ‘Birdman,’ the ‘Imitation Game’ and ‘Selma’. Julianne Moore is a favorite to win for ‘Still Alice,’ as Michael Keaton and Steve Carell will take on Bradley Cooper and Benedict Cumberbatch in the Best Actor category. Robert Duvall’s role in ‘The Judge’ was a wonderful treat this year, but the nomination for an Oscar probably surprised a few people this morning.
‘The Lego Movie’ failed to receive a nomination for best Animated Film this year, the closest to a snub we could find on the list, but it did pick up a nomination for the song ‘Everything is Awesome’. You can checkout the official list of nominees below.
