The Flash adds Mark Hamill as Trickster
Before his epic return to Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 2015, Mark Hamill will be joining the cast of ‘The Flash’ on the small screen in an iconic role. It was reported today that Mark Hamill has been cast as The Trickster (or as he is also known, James Jesse) a villainous character from the infamous rogues gallery in DC Comics.
Hamill is actually reprising the role, he played the same role in the CBS series back in 1990s. HitFix was the first to report the news, according to the site Hamill will appear in the 17th episode of season one. “In this new iteration, The Trickster is an anarchist terrorist con man serving a life sentence in Iron Heights who helps Barry (Grant Gustin) and Det. West (Jesse L. Martin) to foil the city-wide attacks of a wannabe Trickster eagerly following in the original’s deadly footsteps. The episode will reunite him with John Wesley Shipp who went up against him as the original ‘Flash’ on the CBS version.”
“The Flash” airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on The CW.
