It was a touching moment when Emma Stone appeared from behind the curtain following her debut performance in Cabaret. This month the talented actor made her first jumped from film to Broadway, taking the role of Sally Bowles in Cabaret. Already a popular icon on the big-screen, Stone was just as well received at her debut performance, tearing up a little as she finished her first show’s curtain-call.

Alongside co-star Alan Cumming, tucked away at the lovely Roundabout Theater, Stone received a standing ovation for her work that night, and you could see the gratitude in her face as she took her last bow. In the audience that night was boyfriend Andrew Garfield, Spider-Man himself, taking an night-off to see a wonderful performance from Stone. Even the press has had welcoming reviews of Stone’s work in the production, which will continue on for the next few weeks.

If you are hoping to catch Stone in the production, then you should act quickly. Stone will be filling the role of Bowles for just these three-months. If you do need tickets (the perfect gift and reason to come to our fair city) then you can pick them up here.
