Thursday afternoon The Weinstein Company announced the official cast-list for Quentin Tarantino’s next feature, ‘The Hateful Eight.’ The company also used the opportunity to announce that principal photography will take place in Telluride, Colo.
The studio did confirm that Demian Bichir will take the role of “Bob” in the film, but stopped short of confirming Tatum’s role in the project, only that he was signed on. Gladstein, Stacey Sher and Shannon McIntosh are producing the project, while Harvey Weinstein, Bob Weinstein and G. Mac Brown are the executive producers.
The film will be shot on 70mm and will release in 2015, with a more exact release window expected to be released over the next few months.
