All hail the Minion overlords, well once they finally get their act together anyway. The lovable yellow upstarts are getting their own film in 2015, and Universal has released the first trailer for the project. Don’t worry, they are the same slapstick-hungry mumblers that you remember.

The Minions are of course from the externally profitable ‘Despicable Me’ franchise, and although you get to see the trailer, the film itself won’t release for another eight months. In the film Stuart, Kevin and Bob need a new leader, and they go off on an adventure to find such a person to usher them into a new era.

As I mentioned earlier the franchise is one of Universal’s most successful, the last film ‘Despicable Me 2,’ earned $841 million across the globe. That’s a lot of bananas. Sandra Bullock, Jon Hamm, Allison Janney and Steve Coogan are all set to help voice the film. Kyle Balda will has taken the role of Director, and Brian Lynch wrote the script. The film is set to release on July 10 2015.
