Terrific news for everyone that loves NPH, or “American Horror Story,” the popular actor announced that he’s officially joining the cast at the end of the season in a small-role.

Neil Patrick Harris actually reached out to be on the popular series, now the Oscar host and his husband David Burtka will both have a guest starring role on FX anthology hit-series. Set for the very last two-episodes of the season, Harris will take on the role of a salesman, and his husband will play a role within the storyline of Elsa Mars (played by Jessica Lange).

As we mentioned earlier, NPH spoke with Ryan Murphy to be part of the series, and it seemed to have paid off. “I wrote a letter to Ryan asking if I can be in it, even though I wasn’t even available to be in it,” Harris told EW Radio. “To do one that involves any kind of freak, circus nonsense is going to be so unsettling to watch. Can’t wait!”

The couple have worked with each other in the past, appearing on “Glee” from FOX.
