Universal Pictures’ latest horror film ‘Ouija’ is proving to be quite the successful ticket this weekend, pulling in an estimated $8.3 million by Friday’s estimates. The film stars Olivia Cooke, Ana Coto and Daren Kagasoff as a group of friends that are forced to live through a haunting ordeal when they awaken an ancient spirit board.

Expected to come in at number two by the end of the weekend is the action packed film from Lionsgate ‘John Wick.’ The film stars Keanu Reeves as an ex-hitman that is forced back-into his old-ways to exact justice on the mobsters that ruined his life. The film was directed by David Leitch and Chad Stahelski and as of Friday the film had already took-in a little less than $5.5 million at the domestic box-office.

Sony’s WWII film starring Brad Pitt, ‘Fury,’ will most likely come in at third-place, the film took the number one spot last weekend. That would leave ‘Gone Girl’ from FOX and ‘St. Vincent’ with Bill Murray to round-out the top-five. ‘St. Vincent’ comes from the Weinstein Company, and had seen terrific reviews while touring the Film Festival circuit ahead of its nationwide release. Friday estimates for the film put it at fifth place with $2.6 million.
