It’s October, which means that #PLL fans are focused on one key special at the moment, the Pretty Little Liars Halloween episode, but another special is just around the corner and fans are probably going to be equally excited to hear about it.

ABC Family teased the first details for this year’s Christmas special and it looks like it will be a special one. The network stated that Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer will be looking for proof to clear Spencer’s name, while everyone is dealing with Mona and Spencer’s murder charge. That’s when an opportunity presents itself with the chance to get evidence to clear Spencer’s name, and soon the girls and their partners devise a plan to get justice for Mona and finally bring Alison down. If the plan is successful, it could be a very Merry Christmas after all.

Meanwhile, Alison gets a glimpse at the past, present and future by a ghostly presence in “How the ‘A’ Stole Christmas,” the special Christmas episode of ABC Family’s hit original series “Pretty Little Liars,” premiering Tuesday, December 9th (8:00 PM – 9:00 PM ET/PT).

“Pretty Little Liars” is produced by Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television and is executive produced by I. Marlene King, Oliver Goldstick, Leslie Morgenstein and Joseph Dougherty. The series stars Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson, Tyler Blackburn, Lucy Hale, Ian Harding, Laura Leighton, Shay Mitchell, Janel Parrish and Sasha Pieterse.
