Tonight was the world premiere of the highly anticipated film ‘Gone Girl,’ starring Ben Affleck with Rosamund Pike, Neil Patrick Harris and Tyler Perry. The screenplay was written by Gillian Flynn based upon her novel directed by David Fincher. The film itself won’t hit theaters until October 3rd, but early reviews have been strikingly positive across the board.

The cast looked amazing and everyone seemed more than excited to fill the 52nd New York Film Festival’s seats to watch the premiere. The producers of the film were Arnon Milchan, Joshua Donen, Reese Witherspoon and Cean Chaffin and the executive producers were Leslie Dixon and Bruna Papandrea. Another hit from the film is the the music, from Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. For those of you that haven’t read the book (you should) the film is based around the disappearance of one man’s wife on their anniversary. Soon the husband becomes the focus of an intense media circus, and audiences will see just how quickly one man’s life can be consumed under the spotlight when it’s suspected that he may not be innocent.

Fincher’s fellow filmmakers include cinematographer Jeff Cronenworth, editor Kirk Baxter, production designer Donald Graham Burt, costume designer Trish Summerville, sound designer Ren Klyce and casting director Laray Mayfield.
