This weeks is all about premieres, and tonight there are three terrific choices to focus your DVR attention. Over on ABC fans will be reintroduced to Hayley Atwell (from “Marvel’s Captain America” films) as she guest stars as Agent Peggy Carter to on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. to prepare the story for her own spinoff series.
Joining her on screen will be Lucy Lawless and Brian Patrick Wade. The new episode is called “Shadows” and we will find Coulson and his team being hunted as now wanted fugitives with limited resources. Of course that isn’t stopping them from keeping the world safe from powerful and unseen threats everywhere.

”Shadows” was written by Jed Whedon & Maurissa Tancharon and directed by Vincent Misiano. “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” will premiere tonight at its new time, TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on ABC.
Over on CBS you can catch Scott Bakula, Lucas Black, Zoe McLellan, CCH Pounder and Rob Kerkovich star in the season premiere of NCIS: New Orleans. In the first episode of the season viewers will find the team surrounded by the city’s soulful music and luscious food, while Pride and his New Orleans NCIS team investigate a murder case with ties to the military.
Meanwhile, Brody acclimates to life in the Big Easy with a little help from her coworkers, on the series premiere of NCIS: NEW ORLEANS, Tuesday, Sept. 23 (9:00-10:00, ET/PT), on the CBS.
For those of you that are unfamiliar with the setting of the new series, NCIS: NEW ORLEANS is a drama about the local field office that investigates criminal cases affecting military personnel in the Big Easy, a city known for its music, entertainment and decadence. Leading the team is Special Agent Dwayne, aka “King,” a native of New Orleans who is driven by his need to do what is right. Working with Pride is Special Agent Christopher LaSalle, who plays hard but works harder, and Special Agent Meredith “Merri” Brody, a charismatic and tough interrogator who transferred from the Great Lakes office in search of a fresh start. Supporting them is coroner Dr. Loretta Wade, who is as eccentric as she is smart. This colorful city that harbors a dark side is a magnet for service personnel on leave, and when overindulgence is followed by trouble, Pride’s team is at its best.
Also on CBS is the season premiere of “Person of Interest,” with an all-new episode called “Panopticon.” The team is forced to take on new identities created by Root, and the the team tries to adapt to their new lives starting with the season opener tonight. However, some find it hard to ignore The Machine’s numbers, which puts them all at risk of being detected by Samaritan, on the fourth season premiere of PERSON OF INTEREST, Tuesday, Sept. 23 (10:01-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on CBS.
