True Detective season two to star Colin Farrell says the actor

In a recent interview with Ireland’s Sunday World, actor Colin Farrell has reportedly confirmed that he will be starring in ‘True Detective’ season two. According to the actor’s interview, the second season of the popular series will be shot in Los Angeles over the next few months.

Farrell stated, “I know it will be eight episodes and take around four or five months to shoot.” The actor confirmed the news himself saying, “I’m doing the second series. I’m so excited.” As to which actor will be starring alongside Farrell In the upcoming HBO series, the network has yet to confirmed.

HBO has not confirmed the actor’s role in the series at this point, nor has the network confirmed if the actor will be starring alongside another character in the same fashion as we saw with the first season. HBO’s first season of the series was a terrific success for the network, the first two stars (expected to change each season) featured Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson.
