Daniel Craig returns to James bond, new film starts production in December
The next Bond film has a start date, and veteran Bond actor Daniel Craig will be coming back for another installment to the classic franchise. Once again Sam Mendes will take the lead on the film, this being the twenty-fourth Bond film in the series.
Official filming will begin later this year on December 6, 2014, at that time the main cast will gather at Pinewood Studios for a table read. Joining Daniel Craig will be Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny, Rory Kinnear as Bill Tanner and Ben Whishaw as Q to finish off the official cast-list so far.
”Skyfall” director Sam Mendes will be working off a script written by John Logan, though we should point out that a rewrite was issued and later prepared by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade. All three writers worked on Skyfall, so we are expecting great things in this new film.
The new Bond film does not have a name at this point, but it does have a release date, scheduled to hit theaters in North America on Nov. 6, 2015.
