Currently only scheduled as a limited engagement, Elisabeth Moss of “Mad Men” fame will take the title role in the latest revival of “The Heidi Chronicles” on Broadway, starting in February.
The play picked up both a Pulitzer and a Tony Award in the past, and now will be a limited engagement starting in February 2015 with a full-opening later in March of the same year. Joining Moss on stage will be “American Pie” alum and “Orange is the New Black” star Jason Biggs. Also featured in the same cast is the Tony Award nominee Bryce Pinkham.
Directing this new performance will be the Tony Award winning star Pam MacKinnon. If you are new to the play, the “Heidi Chronicles” is a classic coming of age story of Heidi Holland. The story focuses on the young girl as she struggles to find herself in a modern, fast-paced society.
Producing the play is Jeffrey Richards, Jerry Frankel, Susan Gallin, Mary Lu Roffe, Sally Horchow, Rebecca Gold, Wally Hays, Jam Theatricals, Gabrielle Palitz, Jessica Genick and Will Trice.
