It didn’t take long for “The Last 5 Years” to find a distribution-deal at the Toronto Film Festival this year. The musical, starring Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan, was picked up by Radius, the company confirmed the news earlier today at the event.

Radius will now take-over the North American distribution rights for the film, and also has release-date already planned, appropriately scheduled for Valentine’s Day 2015. The world premiere of the film is scheduled to take place on Sunday, where patrons will be the first to see the film at the Ryerson Theater. The Exchange will handle all U.K. distribution, along with a majority of the markets in China.

Richard LaGravenese directed the film, which is based on Jason Robert Brown’s off-Broadway musical. The story follows the crumbling marriage of a successful writer husband and his wife, a struggling actress. The film follows the relationship as they battle their careers and each-other. Lauren Versel, Kurt Deutsch, Janet Brenner and Richard LaGravenese are attached as producers.
