For the last few months we knew that Dwayne Johnson was circling two roles for DC Comics, Black Adam and Shazam, and now he has finally settled-down and chosen one. Johnson will take on the role of Black Adam for DC Comics in a new film not yet in production.
The confirmation came from Dwayne Johnson himself, after the actor tweeted the news Wednesday morning to his followers. It was already confirmed, as we mentioned before, that Johnson agreed to take on a role for the Warner Bros. adaptation of Shazam, but many thought he would be in the title role and hero, not the dark nemesis Black Adam.

There are nine DC Entertainment films set to hit theaters between 2016 and 2020, many without names, but at least now you can scratch one of that list. More casting and other details on the film will be released at a later date.
