The extremely popular sandbox game ‘Minecraft’ is available across a wide array of platforms already, and should you still need another one, you will be happy to know that Minecraft will be coming to the Xbox One later this week.

The official Xbox One version of Minecraft is expected to launch this Friday, September 5, Microsoft made the confirmation earlier today (Wednesday). As for pricing, the Minecraft: Xbox One Edition will set you back $19.99 at launch, if you already own the Xbox 360 version of the game however you can pick it up for just $4.99.

There will be both digital and physical editions of the game available, depending on your preference, the physical versions will be sold at popular retailers across the nation. The Xbox One version can handle a lot more virtual space than the old Xbox 360 version can, with worlds over 30x larger than what the former generation of consoles could create and other fancier upgrades that await your tinkering.
