Marvel has been king of the box-office this summer, the film “Guardians of the Galaxy’ was one of the few films to break $300 million during the summer months, and Disney is planning on more great installments to keep fans interested.
Rumors of a Black Panther film have been going on for months, but Stan Lee himself decided to put all of the rumor-mills to bed and made it clear that a film was already in the works based on the popular character.
The confirmation came from the “Marvel Presents: The Legendary Stan Lee” panel at Fan Expo Canada on Friday (August 29), Lee stated that Marvel Studios was “already working” on the project but wouldn’t go into details at this time. Lee also mentioned the Black Widow spin-off from “The Avengers” franchise was even more likely than many had speculated saying, “The chances are she will have her own movie because eventually all the superheroes are going to have their own movies.”
Lee continued, “They are already working on Ant-Man, Doctor Strange and the Black Panther, and there are others I am not allowed to talk about.”
