At PAX this week there were quite a few great announcements, form more ‘Saints Row IV’ content to a new Alienware desktop coming this fall. One of the major games set to release soon though is ‘Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel’ and the developers opened up about the game at the Inside Gearbox Software panel this weekend,

As of right now the new installment will have four post-release DLC expansions, and there will be a season pass to help you save some of your precious money along the way.

The packs will introduce new characters to the game, there of course will be new missions and locations to enjoy. The DLC expansions are set for $9.99, which is pretty high, but you can basically get one free for the season pass which comes in at $29.99.

If you pre-order the game, you will enjoy the Shock Drop Slaughter Pit bonus content, the pits are some of the most fun side-missions in the game in my honest opinion but if you don’t pre-order you can also pay for it later. The catch is this, it won’t be in the season pass, so either pre-order it and get it for free, or pay later.
