After completing a record-topping summer, Taylor Swift will be expanding her musical-dominance into the fall with a new spot on ‘The Voice’. It was rumored all week that the 24 year-old Swift would be joining the NBC program, now US Weekly has reported that the singer/performer will be the next big installment to the long-running show when the series returns for a seventh season.

Swift is still pulling in impressive numbers as her new single “Shake it Off” remains at No. 1 on the Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. Meanwhile “The Voice,” is one of the leading singing competition shows on the market, running against series like X-Factor and American Idol.

This wouldn’t be Swift’s first time on the series either, she performed on the show during its fourth season. Contestants will be divided up between Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams when the show premieres later in September. Swift will be an adviser, other star-acts in the role include Gavin Rossdale, Little Big Town, Alicia Keys and Stevie Wonder.

Fan won’t have to wait too long for the start of the next season, “The Voice” is set to air on September 22.
