While one branch of most smartphone manufacturers are testing the most powerful smartphones on the market, there is usually another branch trying to make the most affordable. Overseas the market for low-cost smartphones is booming, and HTC has recently introduced the HTC Desire 510.
As the company stated in the announcement, “Because everyone deserves a phone that delivers high performance with a beautiful design, the HTC Desire 510 brings quality and style together in an affordable package. A HTC Dot View case is also available to accompany the phone, which is a retro-looking dot matrix cover that lets users answer calls via the power button and access notifications without ever opening the case.”
The HTC Desire 510 combines the advancements in technology that HTC has been known for, with the company’s signature style to create a smartphone which is low cost but extremely high performance. The HTC Desire 510 will be available in the coming months in the U.S. at Cricket Wireless, Sprint, Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile USA and in Canada at SaskTel, TELUS, Videotron and Virgin Mobile Canada.
