Terrific news from Broadway this morning as it has been confirmed that Emma Stone has now finalized her negotiations and will make her Broadway debut in “Cabaret.”
Stone will have some very famous shows to fill in the role, not only have Broadway’s finest dotted the Playbills in the past, she will be replacing Michelle Williams’ role, which was very well received. Williams is scheduled to leave the productions this November.
This will be the first instance for Stone on Broadway, she will begin her run on November 11 and will continue to perform through February 1. That timeline is an extremely popular schedule for Broadway, showing great confidence in the popular actor, as the NYC theater district thrives on the holiday season traffic that New York City attracts.
If you are a fan of Alan Cumming, and really who isn’t? He will continue with the production and will stay through March 29, the same can be said for co-stars Linda Emond and Danny Burstein. This is your last chance to see Williams in the show, she will end her run on November 9.
