Justin Bieber to plead down in alleged illegal street drag race
Multiple sources are confirming that Justin Bieber will plead guilty lesser charges in the South Florida arrest that occurred earlier this year. The AP is reporting that two individuals, who are “directly involved with the case,” state that Justin Bieber will take a plea-deal following the events of his arrest during a traffic-stop in what appeared to be an amature drag race in Florida back in January.
At just 20-years-old Justin Bieber has found himself on the wrong side of the law in several incidences, if he does take the alleged deal it will result in pleading guilty to misdemeanor careless driving and resisting arrest, but without violence, charges on his record.
In the deal Bieber will also have to agree to take an anger management course and make a charitable donation that the judge will have the right to set. The Miami Herald first reported the plea deal.
Many think Bieber is getting off too easy, the first charges filed were for driving under the influence, but breath tests did show that Bieber’s blood alcohol (BAC) level below the limit for underage drivers in Florida, but in many states the legal-limit is 0%.
