Robin Williams dies of apparent suicide at 63
Terrible news to report this evening on the tragic death of actor and comedian Robin Williams. Though reports are still coming in at the moment, the Oscar-winning actor Robin Williams has died at age 63, this according to police in Marin County, California.
This occurred on August 11, 2014 just before noon. At that time Marin County Communications first received a 9-1-1 call. The report indicated that a male was found unconscious, not breathing, inside his residence.
Of the teams dispatched were the Tiburon Fire Department and Southern Marin Fire Protection District with different emergency personnel. In the same report the male was reported dead at 12:02 PM.
Robin McLaurin Williams was 63 and a resident of unincorporated Tiburon, California when he died. There will be a full investigation into the cause and circumstances of the death, that investigation is being lead by local police and the Investigations and Coroner Divisions of the Sheriff’s Office at the moment.
Williams lives with his wife at that residence. The Sheriff’s Office Coroner Division suspects the death to be a suicide at this time from asphyxia.
A forensic examination is currently scheduled for August 12, 2014 with a toxicology testing to be conducted.

I am utterly heartbroken,” his wife Susan Schneider said in a statement. “On behalf of Robin’s family, we are asking for privacy during our time of profound grief. As he is remembered, it is our hope the focus will not be on Robin’s death, but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to millions.”
