If you are wondering who would back-down first in an altercation between Superman and Captain America, the answer is Superman. Well, at least at the box-office.
Warner Bros. has been reported to have moved the premiere date of Batman v. Superman to March 2016, so that the film will not open against the next Captain America movie.
According to multiple online and internal sources, the new release date will be March 25th, 2016, that means that Superman will get the jump on the box-office and release first. The original release date was May 6th.
The next installment from Marvel will be the third Captain America film. Alongside the new report is that Batman v. Superman will be released in 3D, though that was expected but not yet confirmed.
The film itself will be directed by Zack Snyder, this is the second time that the film’s release date has been moved (the first release date was July 2015, but production delays pushed the movie out of that release window.
Among those starring in the film are Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, with Amy Adams as well.
