Long-awaited SpongeBob Movie sequel Sponge Out of Water gets a trailer

It has been about ten-years since the world was introduced to the very first full-length SpongeBob movie, now there will finally be a sequel for the kids to enjoy. The new film “The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water,” is just that, SpongeBob’s journey out of the sea and venturing topside.
The sequel is from the 2004 smash-hit, and it is from a partnership between Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Movies. The duo have release the first trailer for the film, which was shown at Comic Con this past weekend to select fans. The animated/live action film won’t be in theaters until 2015, but you can checkout the first trailer below.

The writer and executive producer of the series, Paul Tibbitt, will be directing the film. The script is from Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger. Don’t worry SpongeBob enthusiasts, the original voice cast of Tom Kenny, Bill Fagerbakke, Rodger Bumpass, Clancy Brown, Carolyn Lawrence and Mr. Lawrence will be coming to the big—screen to reprise.
