If I Stay trailer centers on romance and risk
The second trailer for ‘If I Stay’ has been released from Warner Bros. Pictures, and this short teaser-video is getting all of the former readers ready for the film-adaptation by hinting at a few big scenes.
In the film Chloe Grace Moretz plays Mia, a typical teenager left in a coma, and in that state she must decide whether she wants to accept her fate and meet death, or return to her life.
It’s a pretty terrifying decision to put a 17-year-old girl through, and in the second trailer you can begin to see how she begins to balance her choices. In life Mia had her boyfriend, but she will have to return and face the loss of her parents, who died in the car crash.
The film is based on the 2009 novel that won-over the YA crowd shortly after it was released. The film also features Mireille Enos and Jamie Blackley. R.J. Cutler is directing the film which will premiere on August 22.
